Sometimes at Birdrock Ceramics, a piece doesn't make it through the quality control process, but still wants to be loved! The item will have either a small fault to the glaze, clay or shape, but it is still functional and all the more unique.

Inspired by the beautiful coastal waters of the Mornington Peninsula, this handmade ceramic mug is handcrafted on the pottery wheel and hand-painted. 

The soft tones of lavender glaze blend into the white and blue glaze, evoking the sensation of rolling waves gently breaking along the seashore. The fall of the glaze creates a unique pattern on each piece, every time.

This coastal mug has a wider shape and sits comfortably in your hand, as you relax and enjoy your favourite cup of tea or coffee.

Care Instructions

This item is dishwasher safe, however, hand washing is recommended for the care and longevity of the item. Avoid exposure to thermal shock, when an object is exposed to extreme heat when cold or the reverse.

Please note all pieces are handmade, there will be slight variations to colour and size. Mugs are sold separately.
